STI Screening With Tampons

Demographic: UK Women

This trial aims to investigate whether tampons can be used to diagnose common sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia and gonorrhoea). To take part you should suspect or know that you have chlamydia or gonorrhoea. If you have recently tested positive your test result must be within the last 5 days.

Developing an effective and user-friendly way of testing for these infections using tampons could significantly improve women's health outcomes. As many women already use tampons on a monthly basis, using them in this way could increase testing uptake and enhance early detection and treatment of infections.

You will be compensated ÂŁ25 for full participation.

Seeking participants with OCD for study in Chicago!

We are seeking volunteers for a drug research study for people with OCD. The study is 9 weeks long.

Requirements:

- Ages 18-65

- Taking a study drug by mouth daily for 8 weeks

- Responding to questionnaires

- Completing cognitive tasks on the computer

- Willing to have blood drawn

Qualifying subjects will be compensated.

  • My study, titled “Experiences of Younger Sisters of Eating Disorder Patients,” seeks to better understand the experiences of younger sisters of eating disorder patients while living in the same household as their sister receiving treatment. The study will focus on the individual’s experience, including their relationships, identity, and mental health.
